Transitioning from cardiology to psychiatry. This will be a big change for me and I’m quite nervous about it. I’ve always wanted to get into psych but my first job out of school ended up being in cardio. I feel like I’ve forgotten a ton about psych am looking for some pointers on how to best brush up before I start. My clinical psych rotation was in a ddiction med so I didn’t have a ton of exposure to general outpatient psych which is was I’ll be doing. Looking for any input or short self-paced courses that I can do.
NEI master in psychopharmacology - You also earn CME. 👌🏽

You have to be a member of NEI. I believe undiscounted it is $299, but there is a discount code and you would have to join the psych PA Facebook group to get it. A lot of psych PAs highly recommend NEI membership beyond the master in psychopharmacology. I did it my first year and highly recommend it.
