Hello,
I recently graduated with my B.S. in Exercise Physiology at FSU in Florida and am now looking for advice on applying for a DPT program with a low GPA of (2.83). I switched into Exercise Phys pretty late in the game (went from Biomedical Engineering (hence the low GPA)). Is there any current or past DPT students that could assist me in some research for graduate schools? I am looking for programs in Florida and outside of Florida that will accept a low GPA like mine or alternatives I can do to help with my chances. I am currently interning at a PT clinic and will most likely be with them for a while and hopes to become a Tech eventually. I am also planning to take the GRE and the ACSM Exercise Physiology certification exam (CEP). Any and all advice would help so much, thank you!
