My local universities that have a physical therapy program and that I have a shot of getting into are all of a religious affiliation. Going out of state is completely out of the question for me. I identify as a gay bad Catholic, haha, so I am wondering how the atmosphere at religious schools is like and if bring openly (but not overtly) gay has any influence in the admissions process at these schools. I already talked to an advisor but didn't want to ask this question. The most we got into it is that they do have an interview about applicants` moral standing or something of the sort. I live in California and the schools I am considering are Baptist and seventh day adventist.
