Help! Since it’s seat sale in Cebu Pacific, my friends & I decided to book a flight to Vietnam — Ho Chi Minh City. Original plan sana was to visit the neighboring countries like maybe Thailand? But reading through this sub and google, ang hassle kasi parang one day ka sa bus or train (since ayaw namin mag fly kasi napakamahal haha)

So we decided nalang na to push through and explore Vietnam. While doing research, anlalayo pala ng mga cities? Like Ha Noi? 14-17 hours din yung travel.

I would just like to ask… is 8 days in HCM too long? What should we do? Should we visit Ha Noi and other good nearby cities too since for sure wala na kaming natirang gagawin sa HCM on the 7th or 8th day. Hahaha.

If ever you guys have an itinerary and tips, please help a bunch of first time impulsive travelers.

Thank you so much for reaching the end of this post. Haha! Will try to research more about the country.

EDIT: Thank you all for your suggestions! We have broken down maybe our plans…

HCM to Da Nang- Hoi An back to HCM

Or

HCM to Siem Reap to HCM

I really think Ha Noi is not feasible… mukhang mahal yung flights eh. Costing around 4kphp one way 😭
