I’m a guy in my 30s, and like many of us, I’m at that point where life feels a little too...inconsistent. Work’s fine, hobbies are cool, but I’m really looking for someone constant—whether it's a solid friendship or something more, IRL or even online. I just want that steady connection, y'know?

To break the ice: Let me tell you about my cat, Tabby. He's the kind of cat who acts like he owns the place—until it rains. The other day, I left the terrace door cracked open and, of course, Mr. "I-fear-nothing" decided to step out. Five minutes later, I hear this desperate scratching at the door. I open it, and there he is: drenched, looking like a sad, soggy mop. I think that might be the first time I've ever seen genuine regret on a cat’s face. Now he is wrapped like a burrito in a towel
