Hi friends,
I have no formal training and minimal experience with print design. I recently designed a poster for a friend (in Photoshop) and she just emailed me to say that it's printing with a white border around it.
She wants to know if I can fix that. I thought that borders were something the printer dealt with? I don't know anything about bleed. This kind of thing is hard to just Google when you have no idea what the problem is to begin with - could someone point me in the right direction? If I just make the poster in Illustrator next time, would that fix the problem? Thanks in advance.
