I need help trying to fix a "crease"

I'm trying to restore a old picture for my dad. It was originally a quite large panorama of a baseball team. The picture was stored rolled up for a long time, and several large creases developed. When scanned the picture, the creases cause the photo to lift up, so now there are some light streaks across the images Im working with.

What is the best way to fix this?
