How do I make the jump from establishing my portfolio, to charging people for my work?
Post Body

So, I've just started up photography again. I've got a camera, gear, and I've been offering to shoot my friends for free just to establish a portfolio.

I've done 2 shoots now so far, and have also started to get experience. My question is, at what point should I start charging for my photos, no matter how small it may be? I know that I cannot be doing this forever, but I'm not sure at all how to segway into being semi-professional, instead of a hobbiest.

Any and all help would be appreciated. If you wanna see what I've got in my portfolio and critique it, PM me and I'd be happy to.
