Disclaimer: This just a rant.
I decided to finally pony up the cash for a new lens. I'm going on vacation to San Francisco this Friday (08/28/2018), then driving the PCH down to Newport, so I used that as the perfect excuse. I went through Amazon, as I have for nearly anything else that I buy, and picked up a new tripod, extra battery, and a set of lens filters to go along with the new lens. I thought things were looking really good when my tripod arrived 3 days early, on a Saturday! Wooo! So, I waited patiently until Tuesday since that was the original delivery date, but when Tuesday came and went....no lens at my doorstep. Amazon and USPS tracking both stated that the package was at my local Post Office as of Saturday 4AM, but never went out for delivery. Fast forward to today, after several calls to Amazon and USPS I have an investigation open with USPS but still no lens! I'm so frustrated with this whole ordeal because I'm not usually under a rush to receive something, and I was sooo looking forward to getting this bad boy. Now I'm just sad.
Sorry for the long winded paragraph.
