I've got a Nikon D5100 that's just a year old now, and a Transcend 32 GB UHD-1 SD card for it. Increasingly over the last few months, the camera will complain there is no SD card inserted when I turn it on.
Used to be that pulling it and reseating it once did the trick. It's now taking four or more tries. I've let the camera reformat it multiple times.
It was annoying, but during a recent outing, it was working and then stopped between two pictures and the camera complained. I hadn't touched the card at all. Now I'm worried it will die when I'm six miles into a hike.
I'm going to buy a backup, but I'm wondering if y'all think this sounds like a card issue or a camera issue?
