Visible vs Full-Spectrum sensitivity
Post Body

Saw the sun making a rainbow on my wall, so I took the opportunity to draw some markers and shoot a comparison of the light seen by a normal camera (an E-M5) versus a full-spectrum modified camera (an E-P1).

These two images have been normalized for exposure. Yes, the full-spectrum version does seem brighter across the board, although saturation takes a hit (obviously you're not supposed to shoot with NO filter).

Anyway, thought it was interesting to see exactly how it compares. Keep in mind this comparison is very poorly controlled and completely non-scientific.

EDIT: Added a comparison of full-spectrum vs itself with a cheap "760nm" e-bay filter.
