Camera wouldn't shut off
Post Body

I got a Canon T3 and was shooting a while ago when I got this strange glitch. I was looking through the eyepiece, taking photos when it went black. The LCD screen worked and showed all the settings, but then when I tried to turn the switch to power the camera off, it wouldn't power off. I started freaking out because I paid a lot of money (for me) for this refurbished camera and it seemed to be broken and I think I am past the limited warranty. I did the only thing I could think of and took the battery out. The camera powered off, I put the battery back in, and it worked fine after that. What do you think happened, and is this a common issue on the T3? Should I be concerned over this thing breaking on me in the near future? Seemed to me the shutter got stuck, or something.
