AMP/Receiver died after 20+ years. Looking for a local store that is not big box or buy on line.

Post Body
Not sure if this is the right place to ask. I'm in the NW valley.
My 25 year old Pioneer Elite receiver/amp decided to bite the dust and repair is way to expensive.
I'm looking for a home audio store that is not a big box (best buy... etc) that would have quality replacements. Hopefully they would have listening rooms and a great selection. I'm not locked into Pioneer.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. :-}
