Long! I need move-out cleaner recommendations!
Post Body

tldr: I need help finding move out cleaners who will throughly clean my neglected house using the conditions provided by my landlord.

Help! My husband and I just moved out of a pretty large (for us) 3 bed, 2.5 bath, 1400 sq ft house and into a much more manageable 625sf, 1bed 1 bath apartment.

I thought I kept things pretty clean. Then I received the move-out instructions listed below. The more I "clean", the more I feel like I definitely cannot do this on my own.

I have two short-haired dogs (UGH) and their fur seems to be everywhere. I attempted a lot in this list and kind of gave up. I have a pretty big deposit at risk, so I'm getting desperate. Think in the $800-$1000 range.

Does anyone know of cleaners who will use specified products? I have them all.

I have: *Cleaned refrigerator/freezer *Scrubbed and detailed staircase (which has carpet that i haven't cleaned - our vacuum died) *detailed cabinets and drawers in kitchen with murphy's, as well as cleaned oven, microwave, and all filters. *dusted all window sills *dusted as far up walls as i can (2 story house - very vaulted ceilings) *degreased main a/c vent and vent in kitchen *scrubbed walls/tiles in master bathroom *scrubbed most of baseboards *power-washed outside windows *replaced hosing for outdoor watering

It seems like so little but feels like so much. Anyway, any recommendations would be AWESOME.

"The following list will help you if you want to maximize the amount of your deposit that we can return to you. These are some of the standard things we always do before someone moves into the house, and the list is a subset of the same list that we use ourselves when we prepare a house for occupancy. To the extent that you do these things, we won't need to do them and won't need to charge them against your deposit. We will take care of any items you don't want to do yourself. 1. Wash all cabinets, drawers, and shelves inside and out throughout the house. Murphy's Wood Oil Soap works well for this job.I've done this in the kitchen 2. Replace all burned-out light bulbs, including outdoor lights. Use the correct wattage and bulb type. 3. Remove, wash, and re-install all lamp globes and lamp covers. Please be careful since lamp globes and lamp covers are fragile. 4. Remove all water stains from showers, tubs, sinks, plumbing fixtures, shower rods, and shower doors, and polish each surface to a smooth shine with Gel Gloss (available in the plumbing department at Home Depot). If water stains have accumulated, as they do if you don't dry the shower thoroughly each time you use it, the removal of water stains and polishing will be a big job that can easily take a full day to bring back the original polished condition. Please use only Gel Gloss — acidic or abrasive cleaners will cause irreparable damage. 5. Clean toilets thoroughly with bowl cleaner, and also clean the outsides of the toilets and tanks. Use a soft cotton brush rather than a bristle brush that can scratch the vitreous china. 6. Clean the air vents throughout, especially all the vanes in the return air vent that contains the air filter. A degreaser such as Simple Green will remove accumulated hardened dust from the grill. Be careful since you can easily cut your finger while cleaning the individual vanes. Wearing rubber gloves is advisable.I did the main vent, and one in the kitchen, but i feel like there are a million left 7. Clean the refrigerator and freezer thoroughly, inside and out. Thoroughly clean and scrub the floor under and behind the refrigerator. 8. Clean the stove and microwave or range hood thoroughly, especially inside beneath the burners and inside the oven. If you use the self-cleaning feature of the oven, please be sure to remove the oven racks first and clean them by hand with oven cleaner since the self-cleaning process will destroy the finish on the oven racks, which are expensive to replace. Replace any stove rings and stove pans that are stained or scratched. Target, K-Mart, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Lowe’s and similar stores carry replacement rings and pans. Be sure to match the original parts for your brand of stove since rings and pans of slightly different sizes and styles are available. Only the correct parts for your brand of stove fit properly. 9.~~ Wash all windows inside and out. Wash all screens. Please be careful since screens are fragile.~~ 10. Wash window tracks, screen slots, and bottom door tracks for sliding doors throughout so no dirt remains on the aluminum tracks.oh god, the tracks - i own two dogs 11. Wash walls, doors, and woodwork throughout the house. Especially clean baseboards, window sills, closet shelves, and other horizontal surfaces that tend to accumulate dust. Murphy’s Wood Oil Soap is good for this job, and rubber gloves make it easier on your hands when washing walls and baseboards. 12. Clean light switches and receptacle covers throughout.A good degreaser such as Simple Green, available at Costco, Home Depot, Lowe’s, or Ace will remove fingerprints from and around light switches. 13. Wash all vertical blinds and/or horizontal blinds throughout. A degreaser such as Simple Green is good for this job. Please be very careful to avoid bending or breaking any vanes and to avoid damaging the head rail or control mechanisms. 14. Remove oil stains, grease deposits, radiator stains, and tire marks from the driveway and garage or carport. Concrete Cleaner or Pour-N-Restore® or similar concrete cleaners from Home Depot or Lowe’s are good concrete cleaners. Never use anything like muriatic acid because it destroys the surface of the concrete (and also doesn’t remove grease). 15. Trim all plants and bring all landscaping to a neat appearance. Replace any plants that have died. Remove any weeds, dead leaves, etc.what?! 16. Scrub all linoleum, tile, and stone floors. Scrub the grout in tile or stone floors repeatedly until it returns to its original color. 17. Vacuum the carpet thoroughly throughout, especially around the edges. If there are stains, please remove them if they are not permanent stains. 18. Sweep and hose off all exterior concrete. 19. Repair or replace anything that is broken. 20. Do final surface cleaning of mirrors, sinks, counters, etc."

Edit: This may seem like a long list of things to do - but i honestly appreciate it. The landlords are awesome. I only wish I was given this list when I moved in so that I could keep up better.
