Post Body

I am 27, F.. single mom with 2 kids. Not to brag, I have more than half M on my different bank account and less than 1M in cash. With this money, i want to buy land, build a house, and start my own business. I started with a salary of minimum wage, then trying to work in gambling industries. And then, started to earn more more than enough compare to the salary of normal employee. This past two days, i earned more or less a 100k but i feel it still not enough. Anyway, I am supporting my family's needs. From electricity, water, wifi, allowance of my sisters and one cousin. Now i am only working as an agent and don't have stable job but i did earn a lot.. i'm afraid to spend money for nonsense thing. This past few days, my untie and my mother asking me to let them borrow 25k each to pay their debt in coop. but my aunti still have 14k debt on me that i am not sure if she still not able to pay. Although she is kind to me and to my daughters, i still refuse to lend her this amount. But i told to my mother that i will give her 25k to pay but not my auntie. I let my mother to keep all my passbook, and sometimes i also let my auntie to withdraw money to use in the farm. I feel like its not my responsibility to lend her money again and pay her debt. Although i have money, but i fell like even how much i have, i still have not enough. I am always dreaming to have my own business, having my own house living with my kids, and when i have enough savings for my kids, i will send all my siblings to school, i will help all my cousin and help them to start business and save money so when they have their own family and kids, they don't need to tell to their kids "Anak, mag aral kang mabuti at ikaw mag papayaman sakin. Or bilisan nyo makatapos ng pag aaral para maka tulong kayo samin"

I want to keep money for myself and for my kids, start a business so i can cut this toxic culture. Children is not an investment..

But, where would i start? When will i feel that the money is enough?

Am i being selfish to think this way? Or am i being bad for being stingy?

Anyway, everytime i went home i always give money to the elders, buy one sack of rice for my auntie and my uncle, 50-100 pesos each for my cousin, and a thousand pesos to siblings.

I am working 12-15hrs a day if its matter..

PS. I stuck this kind of life and afraid to get out.
