Moving to HK without job offer yet

My plan is to go to HK to apply for companies and stay for a while since I am a citizen of that country too. My worry is that I need to resign to my current job because we’re not flexible in our work days. Are there options where you can apply in HK companies while still staying in the Philippines? How will they contact you thru phone number if you’re staying in Philippines? Thanks for advice and help.
