Post Body

I left the Philippines when I was 9/turning 10. I'm about to turn 34 this year. I have been going back home every year since then (I was just there 2 days ago for a 3-week stay). The only time I really didn't go was during the peak of the pandemic. I was educated and work in the US na, but why do I feel like the Philippines is still home. This is not a bad thing :) For those who left the Philippines at a young age, do you feel the same? Have you gone back home? If not, bakit? How do you keep up with your roots?
