For context, I'm (19F) studying Psychology in my sophomore year. I've been thinking of trying to go to AU via student visa or something else hopefully (?) once I graduate but I know I'm at a disadvantage because of the following:
- I do not have any relatives at all in the AU.
- I do not come from an affluent background. I have no parents to support me.
- I don't think my degree is in-demand enough to find a job there.
My boyfriend will go to AU as well right after graduating since his family knows people from there and he plans to work as a civil engineer. I do want to venture abroad but I'm feeling a little bit discouraged since I'm at a big disadvantage considering my current status. Do you think I can possibly migrate/work in the AU too? I'm a working student (ESL tutor) earning 15k part-time. Hopefully, someone can help! Thanks!
