I kinda like talking. I’m not entirely good at it, but I’m not so bad either. And at the moment I don't have a scratch to the itch I'm feeling.
I saw this somewhere—"An interesting shade of boring", and I think that’s quite a good way to describe myself.
There’s something about talking about the mundane, the routines, what you had for dinner, what scent of body wash were you deciding to get, what show on Netflix did you choose to watch at that moment that is all quite exciting to me. It tells me about you far more than that big European trip you did 5 years ago, and now all you do is think about traveling.
Or you know, even random thoughts that go through your head—did I leave the lights on in the study room again? Your co-worker’s lopsided smile that somehow annoys. Why do staffs have name tags, but most people don’t really call them by their name? Will they find it weird if I call them by their name or should I just stick to ma’am/sir?
Well, quite frankly, I don’t have so much energy right now. Not really in the best state of mind but I just feel like engaging in some conversation. Small talks should be fine or we’ll see. Tell me something you’re constantly thinking about or something stupid. Your thoughts on a movie you’ve just watched. Something you’ve been meaning to try, and you did but it disappointed. Why do you prefer light mode over dark mode on your phone?
Ha! I don’t know. Well, let's just chat and see if we like talking to each other til we, well, don't.
