Please educate me with this.

May kachat kase ako and he told me na he's undetectable and safe na raw so he can have sex w/o using condoms kase hindi na raw ako mahahawa? Is this accurate/true? He was kind enough naman to inform me about his status/condition but i told him na i still prefer practicing safe sex parin just to make sure. Then he was suggesting na i should take PeP and PreP ba yun? But still, I'd rather be safe and protected at all times just to make sure. I never said no naman to him pero i would prefer if we use condoms naman diba?

I'm just confused lang kase i just want to know na if you're undetected, does it mean na wala na yung virus or is it controlled already? Or just masking it just to say na undetectable na sila? Sorry please no hate i just want to know. I have a teammate din kase when he told me na undetectable narin siya but when i asked medyo hindi ko na naintindihan yung explanation niya.

So going back kay kachat he did not reply na after i told him na we should use condoms. Then yun. So i was just wondering about sa sinabi niya. Help?
