Hi! I'm a bisexual man in my mid 20s, and isa sa struggle ko with the current dating scene is yung femmephobia. Hindi naman ako super effeminate, but I am definitely in touch sa femme side ko, and hindi ako nahihiya maging malambot in public, especially after ko mag-come out. Pero sobrang lala ng femmephobia talaga, lalo sa dating scene and hookup culture. They range from stating na gusto nila ng discreet lang up to the more blatant ones like "pass sa halata", "pass sa long hair na bakla", etc. The worst ones I've seen is "pass sa mga out na" kasi mas gusto nila closeted dahil mas likely maging masculine.
I'm curious if may ganitong problem din sa lesbian community? Or sa mga sexualities na nakikipag-date with women? Or is this purely a male-specific problem?
