How do you find a potential partner without using any dating apps?

Post Body

Hi. I am a 21 year-old homoromantic male college student around the UBelt area. Some may find it cheesy or anything but I always wanted to experience finding a potential partner without the use of any dating apps, like Bumble, Tinder, Grindr, etc. (or even social media apps like Facebook, Twitter, etc.),, just like what some gay or BL movies/series show. I know that, sometimes, those scenarios are really hard to come by (or worse unrealistic), but I have this ounce of hope inside me that still believes in gay fairytale.

Although, I am having a hard time wrapping my head around it. Right now, I am a student and I only have my allowance as my financial power, so I cannot go out as much as I would want to kasi I have to budget and save my allowance because I also reside sa isang dorm. I have concluded that, most likely, I will be working na when things like this would happen kasi I get to have my own money na for my own spending. Right now, I am just a busy student. I am not rushing naman, pero you cannot avoid the tendency to sometimes daydream and wonder how it feels like.

Don't get me wrong. Finding partner by dating apps is nowhere inferior nor superior than IRL searching, but with my recent observation, using the app talaga is really convenient as it already filters down the people you'll be talking to as those na who have the same attraction.

Are there any experiences or tips you would like to share regarding this?
