I often find myself pleading for good results, with a vial of blood.
I take a lot of bloods for women doing IVF. So I get to know them quite well because they more or less become human pincushions, it's bloody rough for them. I just took a BHCG for one of my long term IVF patients after her most recent transfer, and as soon as she was gone I found myself alone, holding a dang vial of her blood PLEADING with it for good results. It's definitely not the first time, and more than likely won't be the last.
Please tell me I'm not alone lol...
Whenever I get the sense a patient is anxious about results, I usually say something like "I'll send good vibes with it!" I don't know if it helps, but I definitely get invested in my patients and hope for nothing but the best, even if I usually don't know what happens once they leave.
Interesting! I've never had someone say anything about my vibes in 11 years! 😹 I'll keep that in mind though.
It is! It's crazy how much I care sometimes. Just because I want to know everything is all good. Ah well, we're doing our part. 🖤

I love this so much, so happy for her! I'm definitely a believer that your wishes on their behalf helped in some small way. 🖤
