Hello to the people of r/phinvest, After years of paper trading in small cap US stocks, I’m now confident to take my trading career seriously. However I didn’t sort out anything linked to opening an account on any brokerage firms.
I was wondering if offshore brokerage firms (namely CMEG, and TradeZero Intl) are strict with filipinos opening an account? If so, do you think my background (seen below) will suit their liking and accept my application? Do they also include paper trading (share size, etc) as an experience?
Are there any reputable offshore brokerage firms besides CMEG, and TradeZero that I can apply to if ever my application gets rejected? Thank you so much people of r/phinvest. This means a lot to me :))
background: - 18 years old; recent alumna taking a year off studying (which makes me unemployed) - 2-3 years of experience (paper trading of course) - with a considerable money in a bank - I follow a strict trading rule and strategy (profitable) - I also follow my risk management that gradually increased my paper trading account (if asked in the application)
