May mga updates*
Original post: I emailed them and cc-ed bsp soon after I received a text message stating that they closed my account due to violation of T&Cs.
The next day, they replied to my email (Team Escalation who is incharge to bsp complaints pa ang incharge sa akin) I received a ticket number from maya and another ticket number from BSP.
I am confident to say that I did not violate their T&Cs since I do not use maya to pay. I do not use the debit card they gave me (has cvv sticker), and not linked to any sites. I only use Maya for their 6% savings.
However, they still confirmed that it was not a mistake to close my account and I violated their T&Cs.
I provided my passport, my traditional bank SoA, and my ITR since I worked until last May 2023. ( I am currently a full time student)
The next email I recieved was “… We will keep a close eye on your case and provide you with an update on December 12, 2023, with your specific needs in mind.” The December 12th update became 16th, 19th, 23, 28, Jan 2nd but still I did not receive any update other than those dates.
However, when I checked the BSP bot for a complaint status since the one who is incharge to me is on leave, it stated “I do not recognize the complaint number…”
Does it mean ba na they gave me the wrong ticket number?
I want to claim my money since I am planning to pay for my tuition and baon for the next sem. Maya please bring back my 322,452.80 pesos.
Edit: I am planning to take a break from my uni if they have not return my money back until March. I need to work to earn money again.
Update: I received an email from them.
They confirmed that my account will be forever banned but also, they confirmed that they will return my money back.
I think may redditor na employee sa maya haha
Another update: another email na puro kaewanan
“We understand how important this is for you. We’re working on this right now and will respond back to you as soon as an update becomes available.”
If you understand, bakit di nyo pa ibalik sakin kung matagal na pala nalipat sa wallet yung savings ko. Nakalagay sa SoA, Dec 14 pa raw nila nilipat.
Update 01/21/2024: wala pa rin hehehehehehehe naka 56 emails na kami balikan wala pa rin
