Doofenshmirtz has covered the entire eastern seaboard with tinfoil and his assumption is that his magnet will reverse the rotation of the Earth. Ferb doesn't talk.

Scene opens to the Flynn-Fletcher household. It’s a sunny day outside and Phineas is lying on his back, looking up at the sky.

Phineas: (sighs) You know, Ferb, I have a feeling that today's gonna be a good day.

Ferb: (nods in agreement)

Phineas: (stands up) Well, we've got a whole lot of summer ahead of us, and now's the perfect time to start making some memories. (a beat) So, what do you wanna do today?

Ferb pulls out a blueprint of a roller coaster and hands it to Phineas.

Phineas: (impressed) A roller coaster! Ferb, I know what we're gonna do today! (cut to Candace on the phone with her friend, Stacy)

Candace: Mom! Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence!

(Phineas and Ferb quickly whip up a title sequence with music)

Phineas: Hi, I'm Phineas Flynn, and this is Ferb Fletcher. We know that you're watching this on TV, but we're actually doing it live!

(Ferb taps a satellite dish which broadcasts the show to the TV)

Phineas: (voice-over) You see, we're gonna build a roller coaster, and we're gonna do it today!

(Scene cuts to a shot of a news broadcast)

News Announcer: In other news, an area man known only as Doofenshmirtz has covered the entire eastern seaboard in tin foil.

(Transition to Perry the Platypus in his underground lair, receiving his mission)

Major Monogram: Good morning, Agent P. Doofenshmirtz has covered the entire eastern seaboard in tin foil. We think he's up to something, and we need you to find out what.

(Cut back to Phineas and Ferb)

Phineas: Okay, Ferb, we need to get started. What are we gonna need?

(Ferb pulls out a list and hands it to Phineas)

Phineas: Okay, let's see. Roller coaster tracks, check. Roller coaster car, check. (looks at the list) A big bowl of pudding?

(Cut to Perry getting into his spy car and driving off)

(Scene cuts back to Phineas and Ferb, who are building the roller coaster)

Phineas: Hey, where's Perry?

(Cut to Perry using a grappling hook to climb up a building)

Major Monogram: (voice-over) Agent P, Doofenshmirtz is at the old abandoned warehouse. Your mission is to go in and find out what he's up to.

(Perry enters the warehouse and confronts Dr. Doofenshmirtz)

Dr. Doofenshmirtz: Perry the Platypus! I should've known you'd show up!

​

Perry chatters and draws his spy tablet, displaying images of the Magnetism Magnifier.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz: Ah, yes, my Magnetism Magnifier. With it, I will be able to reverse the rotation of the Earth and make all the metal in the world stick to the eastern seaboard! (laughs maniacally)

(Back to Phineas and Ferb)

Phineas: Okay, Ferb, the roller coaster is almost finished. We just need to test it.

(Cut to Candace, still on the phone with Stacy)

Candace: Stacy, I know what we're gonna do today. We're gonna bust my brothers!

(Cut back to Perry and Doofenshmirtz)

Dr. Doofenshmirtz: With my Magnetism Magnifier, I'll be able to reverse the rotation of the Earth and make all the metal in the world stick to the eastern seaboard! (laughs maniacally)

Perry chatters and activates a device that stops the Magnetism Magnifier from working.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz: Curse you, Perry the Platypus!

(Cut back to Phineas and Ferb)

Phineas: Okay, Ferb, let's take it for a spin!

(Phineas and Ferb get into the roller coaster car and begin the ride. It goes through a loop, past a group of animals, and ends in their backyard. Candace runs outside to see what's going on)

Candace: Mom, Mom! You gotta see what Phineas and Ferb built!

(Mom looks outside to see the roller coaster)

Mom: Oh, I don't see anything.

(Cut back to Perry and Doofenshmirtz)

Dr. Doofenshmirtz: Perry the Platypus, you may have stopped my Magnetism Magnifier this time, but I'll be back! (laughs)

(Perry chatters and escapes)

(Scene cuts to Phineas and Ferb)

Phineas: Well, Ferb, we may not have changed the world, but we built a roller coaster, and that's gotta count for something.

(Cut to the end of the title sequence)

Phineas and Ferb: (singing) There's 104 days of summer vacation, and school comes along just to end it. So the annual problem for our generation is finding a good way to spend it. Like maybe... building a roller coaster!
