My boyfriend and I are hitting Philly from May 4-8, staying at The Mint hotel about 3 blocks east from Franklin Park. I am already checking out the Poe museum as he's my favorite author, and of course the Liberty Bell and the Constitution Center. I'm from the Colonial Triangle area of VA so the history stuff is interesting, but not a priority.
I love art museums, especially ones that have a little bit of everything. I'm used to the National Galleries and the Chrysler Museum here in VA. I'm a little the bigger the better because I do enjoy getting lost in one.
I have celiacs and would looove to know of any restaurants that cater to gluten free. We're both foodies who will eat anything!
Oh this is a big one! I would love to go to a show, performance, concert, symphony, something. Traditional, weird, seated, standing, whatever! I've looked at Ticketmaster and nothing caught my interest, but I'm sure there's lots of stuff going on that Ticketmaster isn't involved with. We're both music nuts so again, up for anything!
Even if you don't have specifics, suggestions are great! I have only been once when I was a teenager looking at art schools, so I didn't ever get a chance to sight see or do something fun.
Thanks y'all! :)
