Yeah this feeling sucks. Yeah maybe wheeler should have been in there. I cannot truthfully put in words how grateful I am of this team. Im going to try tho. My grandfather(pop) passed away just after we clinched and before the playoffs started. He was a big Phillies fan and baseball head. He basically raised me when I was younger and taught me to love the Phillies and baseball. Ill never forget when we went to an alumni night to celebrate the 80 team. He had tears in his eyes watching the ceremony. We spent so many nights together watching the Phillies and talking baseball. Having catches in the back yard. I’ll forever have those memories. Watching this run let me feel like I was watching with him one last time as if he had a hand in the Phils success. It’s silly but it was a fun way to cope. So basically this goes out to our boys. If any players are lurkers or clubhouse guys get the message to them for me that I will forever love this team because they helped me get thru a tough time. Go phils see you fuckers in February!
