I have covered the Philadelphia Phillies on a daily basis since 2003, beginning with The Philadelphia Inquirer before joining MLB.com in 2009. I wrote "The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly: Philadelphia Phillies," and co-authored "The Rotation: A Season with the Phillies and One of the Greatest Pitching Staffs Ever Assembled." The National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association & Hall of Fame named me Pennsylvania's Sportswriter of the Year in 2008. The Associated Press Sports Editors recognized me for my work in 2003 and 2008. I appear frequently on MLB Network and SportsRadio 94WIP in Philadelphia.

I live with my wife Ryan and our two children in Media, Pennsylvania.
