I’m getting tired of seeing him make the same mistakes at the plate basically chasing almost everything he sees. I know we’re early in the season and he could conceivably turn it around, but I also get the impression that Nick’s ego is so big that he might not be coachable. Especially after witnessing that exchange with the umpire the other night in Boston where he was throwing his weight around. He’s had some great moments as a Phillie, but I have trouble getting past how full of himself his is.
That is what the mics caught. He probably says that kind of shit regularly.
I’m still waiting for the one slip up comment from him that makes the city turn against him.
