As the seemingly the sole surviving mod of this subreddit, I’m trying my best to get it back on track. I’ve managed to get access to some rules and parameters, but I still can’t figure out how to require a minimum account age in order to post.

Yesterday I implemented a new rule- no more picture posts. My thinking is that while I believe every M4F post is legitimate, 99% of F4M posts are not. And many of those use thirst trap pictures to draw guys in for whatever nefarious intent they have. Mostly trying to drive traffic to an onlyspams account which tbh is probably also not even a real account. There are “farms” in shithole countries full of cubicles of indentured servant like men running fake accounts using pictures that were probably obtained in less than moral ways, but I digress.

Since making this change, I’ve already noticed a reduction in spam, however it also seems there may be a reduction in posts overall.

The consensus seems to be that women who use this subreddit tend to lurk and reply to M4F posts of their choosing. If that’s the case, perhaps pictures are helpful for them. I myself love to show off but I also tend to post things to my own profile where women can choose to explore more of me if my text post has caught their attention.
