In response to yesterday's post about what we need more of in Philadelphia - what kind of businesses do we need LESS of?

Post Body

In my opinion, we have far too many smoke/vape shops just about everywhere, and specifically concerning my neighborhood (Old City), it feels like we're drowning in coffee shops and wedding dress shops. Not that those are necessarily bad, but some variety would be nice.

Edit: FEWER of, my bad. And Iā€™m usually the worst about being the grammar police.

Chain restaurants & bars, having any is too many but all these executive styled chains (City Tap House, Fogo De Chao, Ruth's Chris, &c) moving in just feels gross when we used to have stuff like the Citywide and community restaurants everywhere - I want the money from people eating out to go to Philly people not some franchise corporation or a corporate office in NC, ATL, or Texas that's run by right wing nutters who call our city a shithole and use our city's existence to scare the piss out of rural people.
