First let me start off by saying I have been taking phenibut for over 1 year at this point. It started off at 275 mg and as of late I have been taking anywhere between 2-2.8 grams daily. I essentially haven’t taken a break since I started. Now onto what’s been going on. I’ve been sick the past 7-8 days or so with a nasal infection. When I first got sick I actually started to take lower doses. Like .5mg and .8mg and for the most part I felt fine but I was sick so I was sleeping a lot. I saw a doctor 3 days ago on Tuesday and was prescribed a Zithromax Z pack. I took the initial 2 doses the day I got it and didn’t take anymore because the past three days I feel like I am almost out of my body and all in all I feel like I’m constantly on the verge of a panic attack and just have a weird perception on things. I just don’t feel right. Now my question is, am I having withdrawals from phenibut or did the Zithromax do something to me? I’ve been taking higher doses of phenibut since Thursday [1.0g to 1.5g] and notice it slightly helps but the feeling doesn’t completely go away. I just want to know if this feeling will go away. Does the antibiotic have anything to do with it? I read that Zithromax half life is 68 hours but is that for one dose? Since I was advised to take two doses the first day, does that mean I won’t know if it’s the antibiotic or withdrawal until 136 hours later? Sorry for the sporadic sentences and questions I’m just having a hard time concentrating! Thanks guys!

Edit: So today I have taken 2.2g and it hurts for me to say this but I finally feel like myself again. This is honestly horrifying. I didn’t realize how bad I had gotten until I stopped taking my usual doses! The more I thought about it I was taking upwards to 3.2gs daily. And to just drop down out of nowhere to less than half of this dose really fucked me. The antibiotic probably had nothing to do with it! I am going to start the process of tapering and from what I’ve read it’s gonna be a long and difficult road…
