Does anyone get psychedelic or dissociative type effects with heavier doses?

If I take a heavier dose than usual, phenibut gives me an almost psychedelic headspace along with with slight dissociative type physical effects. It’s pleasant for being at home, but I wouldn’t want to drive or go to school like this. Are these normal effects for anyone else? If it matters, I only take it occasionally and have no tolerance.
