Hello po. I posted here on Reddit last month seeking advice since I want to shift career from Engineering to Tech.
After I decided to finally pursue Data Analytics, I watched vids, read posts and articles, and enrolled myself in courses to develop skills that are required in DA.
After a week, I decided to apply to jobs I found on Jobstreet and LinkedIn. Fortunately, I got my first interview and I think it went well since the HR sent forms with skill assessment a day after. Just today, I received an offer from the company as a BI Analyst and the compensation is within the salary range that I expected naman.
I just have some questions that I am too nervous to ask the company's HR. Here are some of it:
- In the offer, it says "Probationary" and I can only avail the standard company benefits "upon regularization". Usually, how many months or span of time to be regularized?
- Yung compensation package ba is the base pay? How about tax deductions? SSS contribution?
- What best practices should I know in workplaces?
Sorry na agad sa mga naïve questions. I don't have any idea kasi on how those work. Thank you!
