Hello! 24M here working as a programmer for a Real Estate software solutions company. I started working here at 2018 with 37k as starting (I just turned 20 back then).

And now as I turn 4 years with the company, less than 10k palang tinaas ng sahod ko. I got 4x na increase discussion (once every year) pero parang di enough yung tinaas ng sahod ko. I have been doing a lot for the team. Sobra pa sa “extra mile” yung ginawa ko pero parang di naman ata naaappreciate yung efforts ko. Puro “thank you” tsaka “I appreciate you” yung natatanggap ko.

This year lang, they started promoting my batchmates into a higher level than our current position. I think I wasn’t even included in the list. Feeling ko may politics/favoritism na involved. Dun na bumaba yung morale ko lalo, umiyak pa nga ako nung nakita ko na di ako kasali sa listahan ng employees na napromote. 4 years na ako sa company pero wala akong career growth. Same responsibilities ever since.

And now, since di naman ako paborito ng nanay. I’m thinking of leaving the company and just find a new work. Sobrang nakakalungkot lang, ang lapit pa ng workplace, ang ganda ng culture outside the team. Kaso wala eh, di naman ako importanteng team member para sakanila.
