Hi!

So now, after 2 failed employment this year (March 2022 and May 2022) - I am now working for a global FMCG Service center. Relatively, mas mababa as compared when I was still at the offshoring firm pero mas may security.

2 weeks in, wala pa rin akong ginagawa. Kakatapos ko lang ng trainings and yung knowledge transfer ay scheduled next months pa since nilagay ako solely sa isang project na iniwan ng nag resign nilang ka team. So basically, 3 months muna ako sa project, na I know kaya ko naman gawin on top of the core deliverables na meron ang team. Ang bilis ko lang siguro mabore at naghahanap ako ng gagawin agad.

Now, I can't help but over think. What if nilagay nila ako dun sa project at hindi na ako iregular once matapos yung project. Huhuhu! I feel secured na dito sa current role ko and planning to stay here in the next 5 years since super lapit lang nya sa bahay.

Yung pinalitan ko is fixed term employee dedicated for the project, pero I was assured naman ng boss ko na since need nila ng additional FTE this year, inadvance na nila yung paghire sa kapalit, which is ME. I asked naman my boss and the HR na sure na for regular employee yung role ko since I was given benefits na di binibigay sa FT employee.

TL;DR: KInakabahan ako na baka mamaya fixed term lang ako pero ineme eme lang as regular employee. Sana hindi.
