Hello! I am currently in an accounting, banking, and financial services industry (BPO setting but non-voice). I usually perform accounting and reconciliation stuff. I took French class way back in college since our curriculum required us to take at least one foreign language class. I am interested in learning it again. In my previous company, we have a language premium for french speakers handling FR accounts (non-voice and reconciliation tasks only). I plan to go back if there are any available positions after a year. So, (1) is it worth it to learn French even though I do not take calls in my current work? Also, i don't know how much the language premium is in my previous company. (2) Do you know the rates or premium for this skill? (3) Does other companies have demand for french speakers?
