Normally the answer is yes since it is a no brainer question considering the country we live in.

The other week in a meeting between my company and DOTR I befriended a fresh grad engineer working there.

He told me he studied in one of the U-belt schools (don't wanna reveal too much info about him) and his school has a connection with a well known university in Taiwan. Where this university is offering to find a company to sponsor the U-belt graduate's masterals in the said university where while studying he is required to work part time for said company, after finishing the masterals one of required to work for 3 full time years in said company to pay off the sponsorship.

A total of five years (2 years of masterals and part time, and 3 years of full time)

He said he could recommend me there even though I am not an alumni, he said he didn't take the chance since the Taiwanese university is only offering a masters degree in mechatronics where he wanted a masters degree in engineering and industry management.

He told me to chat him up if I wanted to. There are problems however, let us start the obvious one.

  1. Show money - I don't have 200k to show mony to the Taiwanese Embassy for this. He told me however since the part time pay is so high that the 200k (borrowed) money can be paid off easily.

  2. I have some dreams and goals here in PH. You see I still haven't fulfilled my dream to party and hookup in NCR (e.g. Pobla etc etc) since I cannot afford it for now (I'm upskilling in p5.js and I have a millionaire friend willing to guide me there). I don't wanna go serious mode again and see my life drift away focusing too much on my masters.

  3. I have a couple of connections in SG where the company they work for are finding young and fresh grad mechanical engineers so their current workers do not have to commit overtime, however that was back in January, the job order to process the manpowee pooling is still being processed in the DMW. Once the process is complete, I have a sure shot of working in SG.

I just neee to get this off so I can think clearly and better. Imma walk outside once I post this.
