I thought I would like the job, or so I thought

Post Body

So I applied on this company for a job, then I get hired but was given a different role/job title from the one I applied for.

Basically, the work is relatively new to the company, and it requires me to handle a project alone, which I initially thought was way beyond what I'm capable of. Since this job is new to the company, there are no guidelines for what I should do, and my supervisor is very busy, which makes me hesitant to ask him about every process.

I'm just a fresh EE graduate, but they ask me to redo or make an innovation of their motor controller with the use of PLC and HMI in controlling VFD. Which I'm not very familiar with. Also, their files are all mess up. They don't have definite schematic diagram for their controller. They also lack the necessary brochure for instruction with their existing VFD. And they don't have any experience with using PLC.

I'm so pressured right now, although it's just my 3rd week on the company. I really wanna ask my supervisor to move on different department/job which I originally applied for, but I don't know if he will let me or will he have a violent reaction. Although, I'm aware that his reaction is his own responsibility, I'm still scared with how he will handle my request. I really wanna say it as early as this week since he have just given me the project last week and ayoko na patagalin 'to.

How should I approach him with this concern?
