Pharm tech and pharmacists of reddit. I have a question about empty IV containers that someone must know the answer for. So there are meds that we have stabilty information for that can be frozen for an extended period of time. Baxter, mckesson and BBraun are all telling us that they have no containers that can be frozen even though i know that Baxter has premixed medication that gets shipped to facilities frozen.
Does anyone know of a company that has an IV container, preferably in the 250ml size that can be frozen so that we can take care of our patient? Thank you in advance
