[UPD] How to handle campus animals that are grabby with food?

Post Body

Ilang beses na kasing nangyari sa’kin yung muntikan nang makuha ng cats or dogs yung pagkain, especially sa mga eating areas sa campus like CS Lib Eating Area and ICE canteen.

I’m not generally averse to animals in general, in fact, ang cute nga nila i-pet at hawakan eh. Ok lang din sa’kin if they hang out near where I eat, pero ang problem talaga is when they start to grab yung food mismo, like using their paws or just suddenly grabbing your food by biting it 😭. Hindi rin naman yata ok if you let them eat a bit of your food kasi masasanay sila and afaik may policy of not feeding campus animals. So, ang ginagawa ko na lang ay i-shoo-shoo sila (which IDK if that’s harsh or not) and just carry my food standing if they’re starting to get too close sa food ko (especially if nakapatong na sila sa table).

So, ayun, basically asking suggestion/help according to what the title says. Nakakarattle din kasi minsan yung biglaang pagkuha nila ng food. Hindi ko ma-enjoy pagkain ko. May iba ba kayong masusuggest na way to deter them from being too grabby with food?
