[UPX] Are there any differences between non-transfer and transfer students?

Hi, I didn't take the UPCAT 2024 so I'm planning to transfer na lang.
For context, I passed CVSU-Main didn't passed PLM so more likely dito na lang bagsak ko. A friend told me na kapag daw ata transferee ka sa CVSU, 'di ka na qualified para sa honors like the Dean's Lister.
I fear ganito din po ba sa UP? Or is there any differences talaga even a little bit between students who went through the UPCAT, and to those who went through the transfering process.
