[RANT] Not being satisfied with my grades

Post Body

Posting this on my dump acc because some of my friends know my main account.

I finally got my grades on all my subjects, and although I should be happy with the grades I've achieved (since I don't have a 3.00 or a 5.00), that isn't what I feel. What I feel instead is a burning desire to have an even better grade for the following years.

For some additional context, I am aiming for a magna cum laude standing, and I have currently just finished my first year in a science course with really difficult majors.

Some people might judge me for being ungrateful, but to be honest, I blame no one but myself. I gave my all, but I'm still not satisfied with the "best" I can do. While it is true that grades don't define me as a person nor does it matter in the grander scheme of life, it still advantageous to have a really high grade if I were to pursue a higher education (Master's / PhD) or pursue law/medical school, either of which I am considering.

Some advice and tips would be greatly appreciated.
