Post Body

For context, I’ve been working at petsmart for over 2 years now at 2 separate locations. This company is a joke. There is little to no respect for associates and the managers have put themselves on a high horse. Corporate is cutting hours (or so we’ve been told) and our scheduling has been a complete mess. Entire shifts are not scheduled for some reason, while at the same time they’re stretching me to work 39.5 hours a week as a full time student. Why isn’t there a petcare opener today? I don’t know. Do we have a cashier? Nope just me. My 5 am stocking shift went from petcare to stocking to cashiering and I’m so tired of not having any help. The worst part has to be the managers. They have the NERVE to complain that petcare is messy and behind and never organized. I WONDER WHY. I am first and foremost a petcare employee, and I enjoy it to a degree, I don’t mind stocking and being a cashier is hell on earth at my location because of the rich snobby Karens. We have 3 ALWKs who have ABSOLUTELY NO petcare knowledge. Often times my SL Has asked me to make sure our shipment goes smoothly. Just to top it all off I’ve got 5 am shifts every day this week. This is how to burnout your employees with maximum efficiency. Anyways I’m looking for a new job atm and if you’re considering working for this company, I wouldn’t. If only I had used this Reddit more these past 2 years.
