Just wanna vent how bad of a time I had workin for Petsmart for just a few months. I worked in the pets hotel and was on boarded with three other girls. It was our grand re-opening since covid at the time so it was chill the first few weeks. But then I noticed the other girls all disappeared and new people were coming. New people that got to sit in the back all day while I was in camp. Now I don’t mind being in camp but I read that some of you switch out camp every few hours and that pissed me off.

Why do the new people get to do the easy job while I get pissed on all day. You think I didn’t notice?

Then the manager went to fucking Disney while I had to watch his misbehaving ass dogs. Pissed on me scratched me and I’m stuck with them for like two weeks while you’re on vacation??? Oh hell no. It’s one thing to have a bad dog for a few days but everyday for weeks? No.

One of the new people was talking to me while I was mopping at one point and watched a dog take a shit right behind me as I was backing up and didn’t say anything at all. Just let me walk into it. Fuck you if you’re reading this.

At one point I had to go to the hospital for a concussion and I swear they held that against me. Someone must have had to cover my shift and didn’t like it cause nobody was nice to me after that. So sorry my head was gushing blood next time I’ll be sure to come into work like that :)

It felt so shitty. I felt targeted. And to boot drying the playroom was IMPOSSIBLE especially after picking up toys and bending down to rub bellies for hours and then cleaning the whole room. By then I’m TIRED my arms are physically too tired to apply enough pressure to soak up the water that pools in the corners. No matter how many towels I use that shit stays a little damp.

Oh but the poor little trainers just can’t have a slightly wet corner in their training room :( oh those poor poor babies just standing and watching me clean and then telling me it’s not good enough oh your life is so hard :(

They called the store manager in to dry it after me to try and make me look/feel bad. So I quit the next day.

Someone could have shown me if I was doing it wrong. Someone could have said something but they literally just went and whined to the store manager omfg I hate Petsmart so so much.

Congrats on losing the only afternoon camper. The one willing to actually CLEAN shit properly. The one who actually PLAYS with the dogs instead of being on my phone. Last time I went in there to shop the hotel manager was still doing afternoon camp by himself. Good fucking luck. For $11??? GOOD fucking luck my dude.
