How much do you make doing only boarding?
Post Body

Sorry if this has been asked before. I’ve looked up questions but I haven’t really seen anything specifically about just boarding. But I’m curious as to how much you make? Are you able to only do boarding full time? I’m also curious how much you make if you only do cats?

I don’t mean this in a lazy way but I really am just over work culture in general and societies expectations. Obviously I know not every job is perfect and it’s still work and that you have to deal with owners but this seems like a great alternative tbh. Although I’m guessing I probably wouldn’t be able to board unless I own.

I board small dogs, housesit and do drop ins around my full time job. There is no way I could survive on just pet work though.

Boarding and housing is $50 a night for 1 dog. I prefer to housesit though.

I've been bit, but that was a house sit. My rug was ruined so I threw it away. But that comes with the job.

I also don't mix dogs from multiple clients, so I don't have to worry about fighting.
