Hi all,
So I have a 2 night house sitting booked for next weekend, the family has 4 dogs, 2 cats, a rabbit, snake, fish, and a couple of lizards. They only want me to care for the dogs, rabbit 1 lizard and the fish, since the cats are self sufficient and the other lizard/snake will be fed before they leave.
I've already done a meet & greet, and I was having doubts about the stay afterwards, but talked myself out of saying no since its only 48 hrs, but now that I'm a week out, I want to cancel cause the dogs sound like a handful and I'd be sleeping on the couch in the living room. Also I'm charging $135 a night and idk if this is worth it for less than $300.
What I'm hoping is to get your opinions on this and if I should back out now, pointing them to Rover for another pet sitter (they were referred to me by a friend) or if I should suck it up and get the money then not sit for them in the future.
I've done pet sitting & dog walking on and off for years, just recently became legitimate and I don't want this to ruin potential future business.
