TL;DR: First 2 weeks, german roaches devoured Advion. After 2 weeks, and switching to new baits, they're barely touching Vendetta, Maxforce Magnum, or the Advion. Old dried baits are always scraped up in between applications. What might be going on?
------------------
For the first 2 weeks of my german roach project, I went through 6 tubes of Advion Cockroach Gel bait. The areas I've been covering with the bait are the pantry, kitchen, and a few areas inside the half bath located next to the pantry. There were days when I would return to the rental property and every bead of Advion would have disappeared overnight.
After about about 2 weeks, I switched to Vendetta Nitro Cockroach Bait... They wouldn't eat the Vendetta.
I scraped up the dried beads of Vendetta and put down Advion again a few days later. They barely ate the Advion.
A few days later, I scraped up the dried beads of Advion and applied Maxforce FC Magnum... They're not eating that at all.
I had a pro visit the property. They put down these little discs on the floor with Maxforce Magnum squirted in the center (this was actually the first day Maxforce was used by both the pro and I). I checked those discs and it doesn't appear the roaches have even nibbled on it.
What could be going on at this point? Why aren't the roaches eating the bait? Do I need to go in and disguise the bait with a pair of those gag glasses with the fake nose and mustache?
