So a few weeks ago I saw a rat. Scrambling across my bathroom floor and into a hole in the wall I’ve since closed up. Last week my mom saw a rat in the bathroom in the bathroom go into said hole and my sister also said that she saw a rat.

I keep hearing squeaking. Everywhere. I’m in the kitchen? *squeak squeak*. In the bathroom? *squeak squeak*. Right next to my fucking bed? *squeak squeak*. I hope I’m losing my mind, that my football career is making me hear things. They’re there though, trying to claw a hole right next to me which has inspired me to write this post. I don’t know what caused this. I’ve kept my area clean, my cousins room is clean and I can’t find a speak of dust in my grandparents room.  I’m just looking for relief. Is there anything I can do? I don’t think my parents are going to pay for an exterminator until they start pouring out like that scene in Ratatouille. We tried bait traps but apparently they didn’t do shit. I don’t know. Has anyone found any successful preventatives from an infestation? Any useful traps? Please I hate rats.
